ChemSpec's Cosmetics Division Now Eastern Distributor for SILOK'S SiCare Brands
UNIONTOWN, OH— Tuesday, September 18, 2018- CHEMSPEC, LTD’s Cosmetics Division announces Eastern distributorship with SILOK’s American subsidiary, Silokchem, Inc., for their SiCare brands of personal care products. This distributorship covers the areas east of the Mississippi River and Texas.
Founded in 2004, SILOK is a global manufacturer of silicone materials with innovative R&D centers, marketing, and manufacturing locations supporting three brands and 420 products in the coating and inks, personal care, plastic and rubber markets. Their SiCare personal care products are produced by Hunan SilokSilicone Co., Ltd. In 2018, Hunan SilokSilicone launched natural oil modified silicone bringing a safer and healthier element to personal care. ChemSpec will focus on distributing these silicones that include silicone oils, silicone elastomers, and silicone emulsifiers. ChemSpec’s Cosmetics Sales & Marketing Director, Marie Graet, explains: “Natural oil replaces a part of silicone which makes these products more natural, increases their compatibility with other oils, and provides a unique sensory.”
